Zeekr vs other EVs

Last checked: 8 November 2026.

Comparing a Zeekr with another EV is worth doing, but rival prices and specs change often and we have not verified them, so this page does not publish competitor figures. Instead it lists the Zeekr side with sources, and what to check on the other car.

2027 7X (MY27)

The updated 2027 7X (MY27) delivers from December 2026. Figures on this page are for the MY25/MY26 car unless marked. See Which 7X do I have?.

The Zeekr side

For prices, range, charging and towing across the range, see the model comparison table. The points that most often decide a comparison:

  • Price. The 7X is $57,900, $63,900 or $72,900 before on-road costs, unchanged for the 2027 update12. The MY26 X is from $48,900 drive-away3.
  • DC charging. The 7X is an 800V car with DC peaks of up to 450 kW (RWD) and 420 kW (Long Range and AWD)2. Real stops depend on the charger, the weather and your state of charge.
  • Towing. The MY25/MY26 7X is rated at 2,000 kg braked on every variant4.
  • Boot. The 7X has 539 L, or 1,978 L with the rear seats folded1.
  • Warranty. 5 years and unlimited kilometres for private use, 8 years or 160,000 km on the battery, 5 years of roadside assistance5.
  • Dealer network. Zeekr lists 17 sales sites in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and WA, and none in Tasmania or the Northern Territory6. Service is offered at fewer sites; see Where to Buy.

What to check on the other car

Use the manufacturer's own Australian site for each figure, and note the date you checked.

Check Why it matters
Price before on-road costs, or drive-away, in your state Some brands quote drive-away nationally, others quote before on-road costs. Compare like with like.
WLTP range for the exact variant Range differs by battery and wheel size.
DC peak rate and a published 10-80% time Peak kW alone says little; the 10-80% time is the more useful figure.
AC charging rate Matters if you have three-phase power at home or work.
Braked towing rating and towbar availability Ratings can differ by variant.
Boot volume, measured the same way Check whether both figures are seats up or seats folded.
Warranty years and kilometre limit, and battery cover Kilometre caps matter for high-mileage drivers.
Service interval and capped-price servicing Intervals vary by model and model year.
Nearest service centre to you A dealer that sells cars may not service them.
Whether the price sits under the LCT or FBT thresholds Affects novated leases; see the finance guide.

Things we don't know yet

  • Long-term resale values for Zeekr in Australia. The brand is new here and there is little used-sale history.
  • How the 2027 7X compares on towing and boot space, because Zeekr has not published those figures for it2.
