Choosing a model
Last checked: 8 November 2026.
Three Zeekr models are on sale in Australia. Here is how to narrow it down.
2027 7X (MY27)
The updated 2027 7X (MY27) delivers from December 2026. Figures on this page are for the MY25/MY26 car unless marked. See Which 7X do I have?.
Coming: Zeekr 7GT
The 7GT electric wagon is confirmed for Australia but not yet on sale, and has no Australian price yet8. First deliveries are expected in the first quarter of 20279. See Zeekr 7GT.

For range, charging and towing side by side, see the model comparison table.
Zeekr X
The smallest Zeekr, and the easiest to park.
- Suits singles, couples and small families, city and suburban driving, or a second car.
- WLTP range is 405 km (RWD) or 415 km (AWD)1. That's plenty for daily driving; on long trips you will stop more often than in a 7X Long Range.
- Look elsewhere if you regularly carry four adults plus luggage, or bulky gear.
Zeekr 7X
The mid-size five-seater.
- Suits families who want a larger boot (539 L, or 1,978 L with the rear seats folded)2.
- WLTP range is 480 km (RWD), 615 km (Long Range) or 543 km (Performance AWD)35.
- All three variants are rated to tow 2,000 kg braked6. Towing doesn't need the AWD.
- 800V charging with DC peaks up to 450 kW (RWD) or 420 kW (Long Range, AWD)3.
- Look elsewhere if you need more than five seats.
Zeekr 009
The people mover.
- Suits anyone who regularly carries six or seven people.
- Comes as a 7-seat FWD, 7-seat AWD or 6-seat AWD4.
- WLTP range is 604 km (FWD) or 582 km (AWD)4.
- Its price is above the Luxury Car Tax threshold, which affects novated leasing; see the finance guide.
- Look elsewhere if you rarely need more than five seats or have a tight garage. Measure first.
Buying a 7X around the model-year change?
The 2027 7X opened for orders on 1 November 2026, with deliveries from December 2026, at the same prices as before3. It adds power (335 kW on RWD and Long Range, 500 kW on the AWD), a little more WLTP range, and a built-in dashcam (DVR) and rear privacy glass on every grade37. Orders placed from 1 November to 31 December 2026 come with a launch offer that includes two years of servicing and a 7 kW wallbox (supply only)3.
If you are being offered an MY25/MY26 car now, compare what it includes against the MY27 car before you sign. See Which 7X do I have?.
Choosing a variant
- Battery size. A bigger battery costs more and gives more range. Think about how far you drive on your longest regular trips, not your average day.
- RWD or AWD. AWD is quicker and gives more grip in the wet, and usually uses a little more energy. Within the 7X range, the AWD's WLTP range is lower than the Long Range RWD's5.
- Equipment. Higher grades add comfort and tech features. Check the specification page for the grade and model year you are looking at.
Test drive with your real life in mind
- Sit in every seat you will use, and have your regular passengers do the same.
- Load what you usually carry: prams, sports gear, the dog crate.
- Try the infotainment and driver assistance settings you'll use daily.
- Check visibility and parking in a space like your own.
- Anyone else who will drive the car should drive it too.
