Zeekr 7GT
Last checked: 8 November 2026.
Confirmed for Australia, not yet on sale
Zeekr Australia lists the 7GT as "Coming Soon" and has an expression-of-interest form open. The form is not an order1. Zeekr has said launch is in the fourth quarter of 2026 and first deliveries are expected in the first quarter of 202723. Australian pricing, final specifications and the order date have not been announced. Zeekr's own page says the car shown is an overseas model and Australian specifications and features may differ1.
What it is
The 7GT is a five-door, low-slung electric wagon (a shooting brake), designed in Gothenburg, Sweden4. It will be Zeekr's fourth Australian model after the X, 7X and 0092. It was shown in Sydney in left-hand drive in September 2026, and a right-hand-drive car has since been spotted on Australian roads in Newcastle, reportedly in Performance AWD form5.
Planned Australian grades
Zeekr has named three grades for Australia: RWD, Long Range RWD and Performance AWD23. The Zeekr page says the fast-charging claim applies to the Long Range RWD and Performance AWD only1.
| Spec | RWD | Long Range RWD | Performance AWD |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | Not yet confirmed for Australia | Not yet confirmed for Australia | Not yet confirmed for Australia |
| Battery | 75 kWh LFP | 100 kWh NCM | 100 kWh NCM |
| Power / torque | 335 kW / 520 Nm | 335 kW / 520 Nm | 500 kW / 790 Nm |
| WLTP range | Up to 525 km | Up to 670 km | Up to 590 km |
| 0-100 km/h | 5.2 s | 5.0 s | 3.1 s |
These are the figures Australian outlets have published for the local line-up235. They have not yet appeared on Zeekr Australia's own 7GT page, so treat them as provisional. See Specifications for where sources disagree.
Pricing
No Australian price has been announced. Zeekr Australia has said the 7GT will sit below the 7X, but this has not been fully confirmed6. Press estimates exist but are guesses, not Zeekr figures. For reference, the 7X starts at $57,900 before on-road costs7.
How it relates to the 7X
Both cars are Zeekr's mid-size 800V electric cars48. For Australia, the 7GT's published power and torque (335 kW / 520 Nm and 500 kW / 790 Nm) and battery sizes (75 kWh LFP and 100 kWh NCM) match the updated 2027 7X72. The 7GT is lower and wider, and a first-impression review found its boot and rear space trail the 7X8. How the two share their platform is described differently by different outlets; see Specifications.
What an Australian buyer may compare it with
Outlets name the Tesla Model 3 (including Performance), Kia EV6 GT, Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Polestar 4 as likely cross-shop rivals, and the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo and BMW i5 Touring as the higher-priced wagons85. The Denza Z9 GT is a confirmed 2027 electric wagon5. These are press comparisons, not Zeekr's.
Warranty and service
Australian outlets report a 5-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty and 5 years of roadside assistance for the 7GT36. Zeekr's 7GT page does not yet state warranty terms1. The 7GT service interval and capped-price schedule are not yet confirmed for Australia.
Owner reports in Australia
None found. The 7GT is not yet delivered, and the October 2026 sales data recorded no 7GT sales5.
