Zeekr 7X owner modifications

Last checked: 8 November 2026.

2027 7X (MY27)

The updated 2027 7X (MY27) delivers from December 2026. Figures on this page are for the MY25/MY26 car unless marked. See Which 7X do I have?.

Mods owners have asked about. Anything that touches the car's wiring can affect your warranty: Zeekr's warranty policy excludes faults caused by unapproved modifications, including electrical ones1.

Dashcams

Applies to: all 7X.

  • MY27: every grade has a built-in digital video recorder (DVR) that uses the car's own cameras, records while driving and monitors the car while parked23. Where it stores footage has not been published.
  • MY25/MY26: no source we found says the launch car has a built-in dashcam, or that one can be added by software update24.

Hardwiring an aftermarket dashcam

We do not publish fuse positions for a hardwired install. We have not found a reliable source for the 7X fuse layout, and tapping the wrong circuit can damage the car or put your warranty at risk1. Use a plug-in dashcam, or have an auto electrician who knows the car do the install and ask your dealer first.

Screen protector

Applies to: all 7X.

Difficulty: easy.

Owners fit screen protectors to the centre display to cut fingerprints and glare. A matte finish reduces glare more than gloss but softens the image a little. Clean the screen with the car off or the display locked so you don't press anything by accident.

Mud flaps

Applies to: all 7X.

Difficulty: easy.

Owners who drive on country roads fit mud flaps to cut stone chips on the lower rear body. Clip-on, no-drill sets sold for the 7X are available from overseas marketplaces. Check fitment for your model year before you buy, as the MY27 has a redesigned rear diffuser2.
