Which 7X do I have?
Last checked: 8 November 2026.
Two versions of the 7X are sold in Australia:
- MY25/MY26 7X: the launch car. Cars may be badged MY25 or MY26; we have not found a published difference between them, so this wiki treats them as one car.
- MY27 7X (the 2027 7X): the updated car. Orders opened on 1 November 2026 and first deliveries are expected in December 202612. It is a mid-cycle update, not a new generation: same three grades, same prices, same batteries1.
Quick ways to tell them apart
| Look at | MY25/MY26 | MY27 |
|---|---|---|
| Rear number plate | On the rear bumper | On the tailgate1 |
| Front of the car | Original air intakes and grille shutter | Revised air intakes, narrower active grille shutter1 |
| Rear diffuser | Original | Redesigned1 |
| Centre console | Original layout | Reworked, cupholders moved, extra storage1 |
| Built-in dashcam (DVR) | Not listed in any source we found | Standard on all grades12 |
| Rear privacy glass | Check your grade | Standard on all grades23 |
| Tech Grey with black roof paint | Not in the launch colour list6 | Offered14 |
The number plate is the easiest tell from a car park: on the bumper means MY25/MY26, on the tailgate means MY27.
Not yet confirmed
We have not found a published build-date range, compliance plate cut-off or VIN cut-off between the two versions, or any way the Zeekr app shows which one you have. If you need to be certain, ask your dealer to check the VIN.

Check which table you are reading
Zeekr's own 7X page carries two comparison tables, one with MY25/MY26 figures and one with MY27 figures4. If you copy a number from it, check which car it describes.
Still unknown for the MY27
- Towing capacity (the MY25/MY26 car is rated 2,000 kg braked5).
- Boot volume (539 L is the MY25/MY26 figure6).
- The service interval and capped-price schedule.
- Whether MY25/MY26 cars will get the DVR or other MY27 features by over-the-air update. Nothing has been published.
