Recommended accessories

Practical accessories that Zeekr Insiders Australia members have found useful. These are owner suggestions, not ZI endorsements. Always check fitment for your model and model year before you buy: the MY27 7X has a revised centre console, so console organisers and some mats made for the MY25/MY26 car may not fit2.

Interior

Floor and boot protection

  • All-weather floor mats: look for a fit made for your model, raised edges and retention clips on the driver's mat so it can't slide under the pedals.
  • Boot liner or cargo tray: full coverage with raised edges keeps groceries, sports gear and pets off the carpet.

Organisation

  • Centre console organiser: measure the console first. Generic inserts often don't fit, and the MY27 7X console layout differs from the MY25/MY26 car2.
  • Boot organisers: collapsible boxes, cargo nets or dividers stop cargo shifting and give your portable charging cable a clean, dry home.

Comfort

  • Sunshades: a windscreen shade keeps the cabin cooler when parked. Side shades help rear passengers.
  • Seat covers: only worth it for pets, kids or work use. Make sure covers don't block side airbags.

Exterior

  • Door edge guards and handle film: stop chips and scratches. These are often included in a PPF package, so check before buying separately. See Protection.
  • Mud flaps: reduce stone damage to lower paintwork, mainly useful if you drive on gravel often.
  • Wheel spacers and aftermarket wheels: these change handling and may affect warranty and insurance. Declare them to your insurer and read the warranty exclusions first3.

Charging

Portable charger safety

No extension leads or adapters

Zeekr's 7X owner manual says not to use any adapters, extension cables or multiple ports of any kind when charging1. Plug a portable charger straight into a suitable wall socket. If the nearest socket is too far away or isn't suitable, have a licensed electrician install a dedicated outlet or a wallbox.

Not yet confirmed for the Australian manual

The manual we read is the Netherlands edition of the 7X manual, on an unofficial mirror1. Check the booklet that came with your car, and follow your portable charger's own manual too.

The same manual also says not to use a damaged cable or socket, not to coil or bundle the cable while charging, and to keep the cable out of direct sunlight, because overheating protection can slow or stop charging1. Plugs and cables covers portable chargers, Type 2 cables and the safe way to plug in.

Storage

  • Wall-mounted cable holder: keeps the home charging cable off the ground.
  • Cable bag: keeps the portable cable clean in the boot. Water-resistant material protects the connector.

Safety and security

Dashcam

The MY27 7X has a built-in digital video recorder (DVR) as standard on every grade, which uses the car's own cameras and monitors the car while parked2. No source we found says the MY25/MY26 car has one or will get one by software update.

If you fit an aftermarket dashcam to an MY25/MY26 car, use a plug-in power source or have it installed professionally. Zeekr's warranty policy excludes faults caused by unapproved electrical modifications3, so don't tap into fuses or wiring yourself.

Emergency kit

  • Tyre inflator: check which tyre repair kit your car came with first.
  • Basic roadside kit: torch, first aid kit, reflective triangle and hi-vis vest.
  • 12-volt jump starter: a flat 12-volt battery can stop the car even when the main battery is full. Zeekr Roadside covers 12-volt battery tests and jump-starts4, so this is a backup, not a necessity.

Cleaning

  • Microfibre wash kit: wash mitts and drying towels reduce swirl marks, which matters more if you have PPF or ceramic coating.
  • pH-neutral car wash: recommended for coated paint. Avoid dish soap.
  • Interior care: use a separate cloth for screens. Check whether your seats are leather or synthetic before using conditioner.

What to avoid

  • Cheap PPF or tint, which can fail early and damage paint on removal
  • Universal-fit mats that leave gaps
  • Performance chips or "tuners", which have no proven benefit and may affect warranty3

Before you buy

  • Check fitment for your model and model year
  • Check the return policy if buying online
  • Declare significant modifications to your insurer (see the Insurance guide)
  • Keep receipts
