Zeekr Roadside and customer support

Zeekr Roadside is on 1800 093 357, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in Australia12. The same number is the customer support line, 9 am to 6 pm AEST, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays; email customersupportau@zeekrlife.com1.

When you call roadside, have your VIN, your location (nearest cross street), a description of the problem and a contact number ready1.

Roadside runs for 5 years from first registration3. The first 1,000 Australian 7X buyers were offered 7 years4. Under the April 2026 terms, cover includes2:

  • phone help
  • a flat 12-volt battery test or jump-start (a replacement battery may be charged to you)
  • a flat-tyre gel repair or a tow to the nearest tyre repairer
  • help with lost or locked-in keys
  • a tow to the nearest authorised Zeekr retailer
  • one one-way taxi, up to $100 including GST
  • recovery if you are bogged on a legally trafficable 2WD road
  • if you are more than 100 km from home and the car is off the road for more than 24 hours: up to three nights' accommodation (up to $250 a night), or a hire car for up to five days (up to $500), or other transport (up to $500).

The car must have been sold by Zeekr Australia, be registered, and be roadworthy and well maintained2.

Sources differ: out of charge

A 2025 summary sheet lists a tow to the nearest compatible charger if you run out of charge, and a $150 taxi limit5. The April 2026 terms list a $100 taxi and do not mention running out of charge2. Zeekr Roadside does not offer a mobile charge in either document. If the high-voltage battery is flat, expect a tow and ask when you call.

Zeekr does not name the company that runs its roadside service12.

Federal tax

  • Luxury car tax: for FY2026-27 (from 1 July 2026) the threshold for fuel-efficient vehicles, which includes EVs, is $91,661; for other vehicles it is $80,80967. Every 009 grade is above it; the 7X and X are below it.
  • Fringe benefits tax: see the finance guide. A change from April 2027 has been reported but is not yet confirmed.
